Matt Landers: Gets let go
Landers was cut from the Patriots' practice squad Tuesday.
Landers landed with New England late in training camp but was not able to make their 53-man roster, ultimately signing with their practice squad. The Arkansas product will now work to find another opportunity, after having also spent time in Seattle, Carolina and Cleveland, as well as the UFL.

The Patriots signed Landers to their practice squad Wednesday.
Landers was waived by New England on Tuesday but will stick around on the team's practice squad. The 25-year-old has yet to appear in a regular season game but will look for an opportunity to be elevated for action during the upcoming campaign.

Matt Landers: Cut by New England
The Patriots waived Landers on Tuesday, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports.
The 25-year-old Landers has yet to appear in a regular-season NFL game despite spending time with the Seahawks, Panthers, Browns and Patriots over the last two years. Landers caught just one pass for 34 yards this preseason.

New England claimed Landers from waivers Tuesday.
Landers was waived by Cleveland on Monday, but he'll now get another chance to make an impression with the Patriots. Their roster is relatively thin at wide receiver, so he'll have as good of a chance at making the final 53-man roster with them as he would with just about any other team.

Cleveland initially signed Landers back in May, but with final roster cuts approaching, it ultimately decided to part ways with him. He'll now have to look for another opportunity with a different team.

Landers signed a contract with the Browns on Tuesday.
Landers joined the Seahawks as a UDFA out of Arkansas last spring and spent time on their practice squad, as well as on Carolina's after Seattle cut him. He'll get a new opportunity with Cleveland ahead of the 2024 campaign.

Landers had been with Carolina's practice squad for the majority of the season, but the team has now decided to part ways with the 24-year-old wideout. The rookie also spent time with Seattle's practice squad earlier in the year but has yet to appear in an NFL game.
