  • Sharks' Cameron Lund: Set to return against Vancouver

Lund (illness) is available for Sunday's game against the Canucks, NHL.com reports.

Lund was unavailable for Sunday's game against the Flames due to his illness, but he'll be back in action for the second half of the back-to-back set. Over nine NHL appearances this season, he's recorded two goals, an assist, five hits, a blocked shot and four PIM while averaging 11:29 of ice time.

  • Sharks' Cameron Lund: Out with illness

Lund (illness) will not play Sunday against the Flames, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.

Lund will miss Sunday's contest after appearing in San Jose's last nine games, tallying two goals and three points. The 20-year-old center will look to recover ahead of Monday's game in Vancouver.

  • Sharks' Cameron Lund: Registers helper

Lund recorded an assist in Wednesday's 8-7 overtime loss to the Wild.

Lund set up a Carl Grundstrom tally in the second period. This was Lund's first NHL helper, and he has earned three points with a minus-10 rating, 11 shots on net and three hits over eight contests since signing out of Northeastern University. He'll likely close the 2024-25 campaign in a bottom-six role, giving him minimal upside in fantasy.

  • Sharks' Cameron Lund: Tallies again Sunday

Lund scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Sunday's 8-1 loss to the Kings.

The Sharks were outscored by a combined 14-2 in losses to the Rangers and the Kings, but Lund had both of their tallies. That's all of his offense, to go with four shots on net, two PIM and a minus-2 rating through three NHL appearances. He's certainly making a good first impression, which should give him a chance to make the NHL club out of camp in 2025-26, but it wouldn't be surprising if he ultimately needed a little time with AHL San Jose at some point.

  • Sharks' Cameron Lund: Nets first NHL goal

Lund scored a power-play goal and went minus-2 in Saturday's 6-1 loss to the Rangers.

Lund's first NHL goal was the lone bright spot for the Sharks in an otherwise ugly game. This was his second contest since he signed out of Northeastern University, where he racked up 40 points in 37 contests this season. The 20-year-old, a second-round pick from 2022, is expected to see plenty of playing time down the stretch as he looks to get a head start on earning an NHL job for 2025-26.
